A Nobel Prize winner once said that he could get this award and a little achievement due to his childhood curiosity about nature and the close contact with the natural environment and the experience of living with the natural environment on the way home every day.
We hope to participate in the construction and improvement of the kindergarten environment through design, so that children can grow up in a more natural environment from an early age, and sow the seeds of health, curiosity and innocence in the natural campus environment. The original intention is natural, and we always pursue our own life meaning and value.
Every year we will receive some commissions for kindergarten design projects, a·nd many problems are found after site survey, such as circulation, scale, functional distribution and lighting, etc. Although as a building, its function and spatial logic need to be very architectural, but in the space of a kindergarten children’s growth and life, it does ignore the “weak” group of children. Moreover, this situation is not an isolated case. In the past projects, we have encountered many times this repeated situation. It can be said that many projects only meet the design specifications and guidelines, ignoring the psychological and physical environment of children and the possibility of sustainable development in the future. We set up the Kindergarten Design Institute, hoping to practice more high-quality kindergarten architecture, space and environment, and make some contributions to the campus environment and early childhood education.
