Lying on the third floor of Yongshengcheng commercial and residential building, Taijiang District, Fuzhou, ther hallway of the first-floor borders Laoyaozhou Street. The total construction area is about 3500 square meters, a large-scale of foot spa chain stores.A travertine facade cut the noisy and busy from city life. The bustling crowds stop and lock their eyes on the deep of arched portal. The customers seem to throw old things ways slowly when step into the hallway on the first floor, with tranquil black wall. Upping to the lobby of the third floor, a new memory is evoked from the embedded rockery bonsai. The cambered light gallery of whole corrugated metal vault connects the future and the past like a time tunnel. The light and shadow of green plants guide customers to the quiet waiting area. The texture of the surrounding natural stone is like a Song Dynasty Landscaper painting. The screen gap opposite the reception as if waterfall in a mountain stream, cascading down, and plashing blue waves. The black vertical curved semi-circular stone wall on the left as though lofty mountains pointing towards to sky.Although there is only a wall between the noisy crowds and the hall, the customers seem already swimming in the landscape painting, bathing in the soft sunshine outside, and waiting for the spa service.Food bath and food spa originated in China, while hydrotherapy spa predates Europe. This project is to integrate Chinese and Western cultures. The arch is an ancient architectural element of China. By the variation of the arch, the regional functions are divided, thus connecting the Chinese and Western cultures and creating a place of health and leisure from ancient to modern.Stepping in, the customers can feel warm and relaxed from rough. The water axis of the middle corridor, which symbolizes the spirit of nature, divides into four areas, the tea room, rest hall, dining room and bathing area. The two ends of the water axis are the rest hall and the foot spa area, respectively. Around the core tube of the commercial and residential building, the foot spa is divided into five parts based on five elements and five colors: yellow, red, black, white(rooms), and cyan(hot spring and pool area).By the retrusive and curved surface, the three moving line conversion area shape a landscape artistic conception.
