The project is located in the southeast of the intersection of Qingyuan Road and Gonghu Avenue, with 12 classes planned. The newly built kindergarten has a total land area of 5507.2 square meters, and a total construction area of 9527.7 square meters, including an aboveground construction area of 5426.9 square meters and an underground construction area of 4110.8 square meters. It includes newly built teaching rooms, administrative office rooms, multi-function halls, service rooms, auxiliary rooms, basements and so on. With the development concept of “TOD smart ecosystem”, a TOD ecological kindergarten is designed with the general guideline of “ecology, happiness and wisdom”.
The project is inspired by building blocks. The classes are combined in the form of blocks to form a kindergarten street space experience, so as to build a free, happy and changeful environment for children. Plant green plants above the block backstage, and create a low-carbon ecological kindergarten, while also activating the facade of the kindergarten.
The gourd-shaped round window hole in the west connects the internal children’s street with the park’s humanistic city, forming a visual communication.
