The project is located in Xuhui Wending Road, covering an areof5000 square meters, with a construction area of4500 squarmeters,and a size of 8 classes of kindergarten.The distancebetween the peripherywall and the building is about 5 metersand the distance between the walls of the inner courtyard i.16 meters. The height of the first line near the periphery walis about 1.6 meters and the height of the children's eyes isabout 1 meter.The imitation stone material is in the visuaand touchable range of children.The stone finish of the inne!courtyard is 4.5 meters high, and the visual floating rangand touching range are also in the opposite wal. The mairbreakthrough point of the design is to change the first floorof the exterior wall finish material.
The façade of the kindergarten building on Wending Road isthe three-stage structure ofBritish architecture.The first flooof the enclosed inner courtyard that is close to the children carbe touched is rough imitation stone material, which is not reaand has a sense of distance.
The design use a bold idea, replacing the first floor ofrough anddepressed material with mirror stainless steel natural materialblurring the large-scale imitation stone facade, reflecting thplants to the interior of the building, and the visual field of theinner courtyard has the tension of divergence outward. Theheavy building seems to float in the air, and the children havevisual and physical interaction with the wall.
